 Fan Zhendong, born on January 22, 1997, in Guangzhou, China, is one of the most prominent table tennis players of his generation. He joined the Chinese national team at the age of 15 and quickly rose to fame, becoming the youngest ITTF World Champion at just 16. Known for his powerful forehand loops and quick reflexes, Fan has dominated the sport with multiple World Cup and World Cham pionship titles.

Despite his young age, Fan has consistently been ranked among the top table tennis players globally, maintaining the World No. 1 position for a record 42 months. His rivalry with fellow Chinese player Ma Long has produced some of the most memorable matches in the sport's history, including their showdown at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where Fan secured a silver medal in singles but won gold in the team event
